From the Door to the Core: Assimilating into Gospel Fellowship
Step 1: Sunday Celebration
Sundays at 9:30 AM
Sunday mornings are vital to our church life. The body needs to gather corporately for the simple celebration of all the gospel is doing in and through us. We believe that our vision and values are most consistently displayed in our Sunday Celebrations. We would encourage you to come on Sunday mornings to participate in God-centered praise, to receive Christ-centered preaching, and to enter into authentic relationships. We want to gather on Sundays to connect.
Step 2: An Evening with the Pastors
Periodic Evenings
We believe that God connects specific people to specific local churches. Gospel Fellowship's pastors know that you need an opportunity to interact with various members of the church's leadership team, including pastors and lay leaders. These gatherings are designed to be an informal and inviting fellowship at the home of a church family. This will provide you opportunity to ask any and all of your questions. These evening events will be scheduled periodically as needed. Watch the Sunday bulletin for the next "Evening" event.
Step 3: Vision / Values Seminar
Periodic Friday and Saturday Evenings
The Vision and Values Seminar is offered for those who are serious about calling Gospel Fellowship their church home. This class is designed to acquaint you in more detail about our mission, values, and doctrinal distinctives. This class will be offered over a Friday night and Saturday morning as needed throughout the year. Be watching the bulletin for the next session.
Our desire is for our new members to spend time getting to know us before finding a place to serve. We are always looking for new people to serve on our ministry teams, so once you've identified Gospel Fellowship as your church home, we would encourage you to find a place to serve on one of our ministry teams. You can do this by talking to any pastor or ministry team leader to obtain information on "pathways" into ministry.
Step 4: Community Groups
Throughout the Week
We believe that we gather to connect and we connect to grow. The primary place for growth and shepherding care at Gospel Fellowship is in our community groups. The strongest and most intimate fellowship is found in the committed relationships of smaller groups. Our community groups will provide that kind of care. Furthermore, our community groups are aimed at helping you serve and evangelize within your own community. We want you to be a part of a thriving group that is more "vicinity" based than "affinity" based.
